About Me

 

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and EMDR Certified Therapist living in San Francisco since 2015. As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training, I also support fellow clinicians in deepening their EMDR practice through individual and group consultation. I am an East-coaster originally from Western Massachusetts. I first began my career as a social worker over 15 years ago working in residential treatment and domestic violence crisis counseling. I offer in-person and online therapy services for teens ages 15+ and adults with a range of mental health issues.

In my free time, I enjoy walking my dog on the beach or losing myself in a good puzzle. I believe in the healing power of nature, movement, laughter, love, and deep connection.

My Approach

My approach combines psychodynamic and harm reduction therapies, tailored to the unique needs of each individual. As an EMDR Certified Therapist, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) is central to my trauma work. I also utilize evidence-based treatments like CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), EFT (emotional freedom technique)/tapping, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing.
