Therapy Services
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming—whether you're seeking support for the first time or have tried before but didn’t find the right fit. I know how important it is to work with someone who truly gets you. My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and grounded in real connection.

How I Work
I believe healing isn’t one-size-fits-all. Each person’s journey is unique, and therapy should reflect that. I use a trauma-informed, psychodynamic, and harm-reduction approach, integrating evidence-based techniques tailored to your needs. These may include:
-
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) – for processing trauma, stuckness, and distressing life experiences
-
EFT/Tapping (Emotional Freedom Techniques) – to regulate emotions and reduce stress
-
DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) – for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and relationship skills
-
CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) – to help shift unhelpful thought patterns
-
Mindfulness-Based Practices – to foster self-awareness and presence
-
Motivational Interviewing – to explore and strengthen personal goals, working with internal motivation

Who I Work With
I primarily work with teens (15+) and adults who are living in California. Therapy can be helpful whether you're:
-
Coping with life transitions, stress, or burnout
-
Navigating trauma or PTSD
-
Managing anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns
-
Living with chronic illness or pain
-
Seeking a space for self-exploration and personal growth

Getting Started
Finding the right therapist matters. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can discuss what you're looking for and see if we’re a good fit. If we decide to work together, sessions are typically weekly, available both in-person in San Francisco and online for California residents.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing)

If you find yourself hindered by the weight of past trauma, EMDR therapy may offer you a pathway to healing. This evidence-based approach is designed to help you process these experiences without the need for detailed discussions or prolonged exposure. Through bilateral stimulation, EMDR therapy can activate your natural healing processes, allowing you to see traumatic memories in a new light, reduce their hold on your life, and move forward with renewed strength and optimism.
Emotional Freedom Technique / Tapping

Emotional Freedom Techniques, or EFT (also known as tapping), is a therapeutic tool that combines principles from ancient Chinese acupressure and modern psychology. It involves tapping specific points on the body, primarily on the head and face, while focusing on particular negative emotions or physical sensations. This process helps in reducing the emotional impact of memories and incidents that trigger emotional distress. It's especially beneficial for clients who are seeking to manage stress, anxiety, and emotional blocks more actively in their daily lives, empowering you with techniques you can use anytime.
LENS Neurofeedback (Low Energy Neurofeedback System)
The Low Energy Neurofeedback System (LENS) is a neurofeedback therapy based on EEG technology, designed to help the brain reset and perform at its best. Neuroscientists suggest that stress and trauma can lead to a "neural gridlock," limiting the brain’s natural function. LENS bypasses these blockages by interacting with the brain’s own electromagnetic signals, encouraging a "reboot" to enhance its performance. This therapy can benefit individuals of any age dealing with neurological challenges, mental health concerns, performance issues, sleep problems, and a wide range of cognitive and emotional difficulties.
Harm Reduction Approach

My harm reduction approach to therapy provides a compassionate space that respects your pace and readiness for change. Whether you're dealing with substance use, risky behaviors, or other concerns, harm reduction is about meeting you where you are and addressing your health and wellbeing with practical strategies. This method is grounded in a non-judgmental stance, focusing on minimizing negative consequences without requiring abstinence. We'll work together to set realistic, incremental goals that support your journey towards a healthier, more balanced life.
Psychodynamic Psychotherapy

Psychodynamic psychotherapy is about making the unconscious conscious. By exploring your past experiences and emotional history, we can uncover the patterns that shape your current thoughts and behaviors. This approach provides a reflective space to understand the deeper motivations behind your actions and to work through persistent challenges. It's a path toward self-discovery and personal growth, aiming to enhance self-awareness and emotional well-being. Together, we'll work to bring meaningful change to your life in a way that honors your unique journey.
