Monthly Case Consultation for Clinicians

TBI & Post-Concussion Therapist Consultation Group

A monthly online consultation group for therapists who bring both professional and lived experience to TBI and post-concussion work — clinicians treating this population who also carry their own history of TBI or concussion. A free, ongoing space for connection, reflection, and case consultation.

What it is

A standing room for TBI-specific case consultation

Working with TBI and post-concussion clients raises questions that don't come up as often in general practice — from pacing sessions around cognitive fatigue to sorting out what's neurological versus psychological in a given presentation. This group exists for therapists who meet this work from both directions: treating clients with TBI or concussion, and carrying their own lived experience of it too. It's a space for ongoing connection, reflection, and case consultation — not a one-time training.

The group meets online, Mondays from 12:30–1:45 PM PST, and started in April 2026.

Who it's for

Clinical experience and lived experience, together

  • Therapists currently seeing TBI or post-concussion clients
  • ...who also have their own lived experience of TBI or concussion
  • Clinicians building a specialty in brain-injury-informed care
  • Anyone wanting ongoing peer connection and consultation, not just a one-time training
The session

75 minutes, three parts

Every session follows the same structure, so there's a rhythm to rely on even as the cases change month to month.

20min

Check-in

The group opens with a round of check-ins — what's been on your caseload, what's been on your mind.

40min

Case consultation

The core of the session: bringing a case to the group for discussion, questions, and shared clinical thinking.

15min

Continued check-in

Tranquil beach

When we feel lost, adrift in our lives, our first instinct is to look out into the distance to find the nearest shore.

But that shore, that solid ground, is within us.  The anchor we are searching for is connection, and it is internal.
